Jay Newman, Co-CEO and President, brings 20+ years of eCommece experience to the table. Jay has supported eCommerce projects for SMB clients using Magento and Shopify, to notable B2B clients like Sonic Drive-In. He has helped these companies create B2B and franchise customer portal and ordering platforms. Prior to commercebuild, Jay was CEO of Pressable, a global WordPress managed hosting and eCommerce platform for startups, agencies, and emerging SMB's. Prior to Pressable, Jay held senior executive roles with Rackspace and Hostway Services. In 2010 Jay joined Gary Sherlock and Fabio Banducci at Peer 1 Hosting where he was responsible for the direction and management of all sales and marketing activities. Prior to Peer 1, he co-founded the Digital Recognition Network and held management roles with EMC Corp. and PTC.
