Directions NA 2024 was the largest yet, with a turnout of 1,286 attendees, of which 346 were first-timers. The event hosted 291 sessions and workshops for the attendees who represented 30 countries, 42 states and 6 Canadian provinces.

NETRONIC Software: Production scheduling - a competitive edge in uncertain times
Join this session to learn how production scheduling helps bring certainty in uncertain times. Thus, production scheduling gives a competitive edge to you as a partner and your manufacturing customers.
I will show examples of how different manufacturing companies gain operational agility with advanced yet visual production scheduling fully integrated into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
The first example is a discrete, repetitive manufacturing company. This company has to handle a high volume of production orders with short lead times. Increasing utilization of their crucial work and machine centers is essential for them.
The second example is a discrete, configure-to-order manufacturer. They produce components and sub-assemblies on stock, while the final delivery is make-to-order, with the demand coming from a sales order. Their initial processes are those from a machine shop, while the last processes are those from an assembly shop dominated by manual work. For them, it is important to give their customers very reliable delivery time commitments.
