Smarter Payment Orchestration in BC: Automate, Save, and Scale with the Freedom to Choose
Description
Effective payment orchestration is crucial for managing customer collections (Accounts Receivables) within Business Central. Participants will learn payment orchestration concepts, strategies, and techniques to automate payment processes, reduce cost, improve PCI Compliance, and support organizational scalability using Business Central.
Key topics include:
1) Payment orchestration for customer payment collection (AR) -- credit card via EMV terminal or card-not-present, ACH / eCheck
2) What is a payment gateway and a processor and what are the differences
3) PCI Compliance standards including built in fraud mitigation tools.
4) Automating the customer collection process
5) Implementation of cost reduction such as convenience fees or surcharges; use of ACH to eliminate credit card fees
6) Scalable payment solutions, including international currency, multiple gateways and integration with eCommerce.

Adil Nowsherwan is Lead Software Engineer for USTPay and owner of Cognitive Compute 365
LLC a Business Central solution architect and developer. He was co-Founder of a Dynamics
partner called Pleasant Valley Business Solutions (PVBS) where he and his dev team built the
extension in NAV and BC for federal government (GovCon) order to cash process. His
company was sold to Xtivia which now called GovCon365. This extension makes BC a DCAA
compliant accounting software to meet Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR).

Wade is a CPA who brings 20 years of financial expertise and business management experience to U.S. Transactions Corp.
He was previously with Ernst & Young in San Francisco and later PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Stuttgart, Germany where he was senior engagement manger responsible for the assurance work for IBM, Sony, and several other multinational companies.
He also served as President/General Manager to three early-stage fast growth companies in the life sciences industry. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business with a B.S. in Economics.
