Date: Tuesday, May 7, 2019| From: 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM | Room: Charleston F

If you are thinking about launching an app on Appsource then this will be an essential session for you. I will share our business experience from the start in August '16 until today. The session will elaborate on the lessons learned and our journey of preparing, launching and maintaining an app on Appsource. What about pricing? G2M, setting goals on downloads? How far will I burn money and what's my goal? In how many countries do you launch your app? How to automate? 24/7 support serving a time zone from US to NZ? Join this session to get no nonsense answers to your questions.

Name: Alex Vandereycken

Company name: Scapta

Job title: Managing Director

Bio: I'm passionate about building or contributing to build an organisation in a tech environment. After my first experiences @ ASQ (Real Software) and Computer Support (IBM) I started my own business as co-owner of Helios-IT in March 2001 at the age of 27. We grew as a group to 100 people to be sold to NORRIQ at the end of 2008. The Helios journey brought us from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Business Intelligence to an internationalisation of an industry focussed solution. From 2008 to 2015 we extended our offering from Dynamics NAV and BI to Dynamics CRM and this combined with housing (managed services on hosting) from NORRIQ in Denmark, We expanded international with Drink-IT (The Beverage Solutions) to countries like China, Nigeria, and many others; this with customers like Carlsberg, Heineken, Pernod Ricard and last but not least Duvel Moortgat where our journey started. Since August 2015, I wanted to start a new professional chapter(SCAPTA) in life where sustainability is key. I’m a big believer we will need small focussed teams from 25 to 35 people with an enormous flexibility and dedication to succeed in the competence we are known for. Dedication, being the expert with a passionate and personal approach. That's the way we do business. I believe the value of the future for all of us is in small massive IPR as an app on Appsource.
