From Customer wish to Test Automation

Or rather, how could you catch five birds with one stone? Because how do you ensure that the customer wishes are described correctly? And that it will then be correctly implemented and tested? That this test will be automated efficiently? And also, that changes in the implementation lead to an update of the documentation? Nurtured by his years of experience as a tester and developer and his recent discussions with NAV pros about the integration of test automation into daily development practice, MVP Luc van Vugt wants to introduce the test list in this session as a possible new unambiguous pivot in the implementation of customer wishes.

Bio: In 1999 Luc stepped into the NAV world training hundreds of developers of which most are still around. After Microsoft acquired Navision Luc joined the Dynamics localization team GDL as tester, UA specialist and project lead. For 6 years he was closely involved with all successive releases. Since he left Microsoft, Luc has become an active community member by means of his blog, co-founder of the Dutch Dynamics Community and speaker on conferences. In 2104 he co-founded NAV Skills supporting NAV pros around the globe with, among others, webinars. For all this, Luc has been awarded MS MVP since 2011. In 2012 Luc started, doing miscellaneous projects including NAV development courses and workshops on, i.a., design patterns and automated testing.
